There are many ways to earn money on GmodPlayground. Here's a breakdown from beginner-friendly to advanced.

Payday Salary

Every 3 minutes all connected players receive a payday based on their job. Government jobs pay more. Simply being online in any job builds passive income over time.

Crafting & Selling Items

Use the crafting system to produce items and sell them to NPC shops or other players. As your Crafting skill levels up you unlock more valuable recipes and earn more per craft. See the Crafting section for full details.

Running a Business

Claim a property and set up a shop. Buy items in bulk, add a markup, and sell to other players via the trade system (F1 → Trade on a player). Popular business ideas:

Food & supply stores
Weapon/ammunition dealers (requires legal license)
Craft item shops
Vehicle repair services

Government Jobs

Police, medics, firefighters, and bus drivers all receive government salaries. These are reliable and require no startup investment. Check Jobs for available slots.

Vehicle Chopshop

Steal vehicles and bring them to the chop shop to earn a payout. This is a grey-area activity — technically criminal but lower risk than drug manufacturing. The payout depends on the vehicle's value.

Best strategy: Combine passive payday income with an active side business. Even a small crafting operation running alongside a government job can earn you several thousand dollars per hour.
